Camryn Eakes is a Los Angeles-based professional dancer, choreographer and artist. She began her dance training at age 3 at Carlsbad Dance Centre in Carlsbad, CA. There, she trained in tap, jazz, contemporary, ballet and hip hop, and was part of the nationally ranked competition team for 10 years. She attended many summer intensives and conventions where she met teacher/choreographer Justin Giles. She attended his annual SoulEscape summer intensives from 2011-2013 where she joined the apprentice company from 2014-2015.
In 2018, Camryn graduated with honors from Chapman University with a BA in Dance and a self-designed minor in photography and journalism. At Chapman she had the privilege of working closely with renowned teachers and choreographers such as Brian Nicholson (Ariana Grande), Sarah Davidson (Cirque du Soleil) and Ido Tadmor (Bat Sheva, Complexions).
Since graduating, Camryn moved to Los Angeles to start her dance career. She's had the chance to work with choreographers Matt Cady, Nina McNeely, Chloe Arnold, and J. R. Taylor. She's also one of Latin pop artist Sofia Reyes' lead dancers having performed with her at the Latin American Music Awards 2019, Coca Cola Music Experience Spain and in many music videos.
Recently, Camryn has started her choreography career with music artists HARLOE, Carmen DeLeon, ST. Panther and The Overcoats (chor. assistant), as well as with actress Pearl Amanda Dickson.
