Camryn Eakes is a Los Angeles-based professional dancer, choreographer and director represented by Bloc Talent Agency LA. 

 

Camryn has performed in works by Andrew Winghart, Dominique Kelley, Matt Cady, Nina McNeely, Chloe Arnold, Genna Moroni, Riley Roberts and J. R. Taylor. She has worked with music artists Sofia Reyes, Jhayco, Rozzi, Carmen De Leon, The Overcoats, Fitz and The Tantrums, HARLOE, St. Panther, The Plot In You, Georgia Greene, Beauty Queen, Nakaya, Kaeyra, and Polartropica, as well as actress Pearl Amanda Dickson. 

 

In 2018, Camryn collaborated with Garagisme magazine, Exotica DHTRV and NoSesso to create the movement film "4AM" guided by the mantra “the car is the dancer/the dancer is the car." In 2020, amidst the pandemic, Camryn collaborated with movement artist Marieelena Martingano to create "SYNCING" a movement film exploring human coping mechanisms after human-to-human interaction was cut. This film premiered at Los Angeles Dance Festival 2020. In 2022, Camryn had the opportunity to choreograph a movement film with director and DP Geffen Shichor, set to premiere in 2023.

She has directed numerous movement films of her own, the most recent being "Pinky Promise". She's co-directed for music artists Kareen Lomax, Beauty Queen, Nakaya and Shana Sarett.
