Camryn finds comfort and creativity in being a shapeshifter. Based in Los Angeles, she is a multi-hyphenate artist, holding storytelling and character development at the forefront of all of her work.

 

As a mover, her diverse dance background gives her a distinct toolbox to pull from when performing, creating and connecting to audiences. She moves with depth, intention and technique, giving her work visceral potency and personality that sings.

 

As a performer and collaborator, she hones an inquisitive and open spirit, reserving room for play, definition and choice. She holds a BA in Dance Performance from Chapman University accompanied by a self-curated minor in photography, journalism, public relations and documentary film.

 

Her movement background is reflected in her directing work. As a director, Camryn is interested in telling stories where the surreal meets reality, and uses movement to drive the rhythm and momentum of plots.

 

She’s had the pleasure of working with Netflix, Autre Magazine, Garagisme Magazine, Miista, Cava, Dave Meyers, Lisa Rinna, Tyga, Sofia Reyes, Cordae, Durand Jones and the Indications, Aaron Frazer, Fitz and the Tantrums, Carmen De Leon, Harloe and more.

Currently, Camryn is working on creating a new movement film as well as writing her first short, narrative film.
